Design and aerodynamics

A Kip caravan distinguishes itself by its streamlined and aerodynamic design, making it instantly recognisable on the road. As well as the reduced wind-resistance (a big plus in this time of high fuel costs), the caravan is also pushed down firmly onto the road by the wind passing over the top. Together with the AL-KO Euro Delta chassis, the Kip design ensures exceptionally stable road-holding and manoeuvrability.

The ultimate drivability

The specially-designed axle and chassis construction is self-stabilising in corners and during swerving manoeuvres.
Thanks to innovative designs, caravans with this chassis have outstanding driving characteristics, enabling you to reach your holiday destination safe and relaxed. And the lightweight system-chassis has a lower kerb-weight but a higher load-carrying capacity. This technology was specially developed in a cooperation between Technical University Twente, AL-KO GmbH and Kip Caravan.

Weight saving without compromise

Polyester, wood, matrasses, cloth, fridges: all heavy things that are part of the caravan. In the process of designing the Isa White, we continually assessed the weights and qualities of the things we use to get the best balance between them. For example, polyester is used when durability and protection are required, and ABS where lightness is important, but then used double-walled to ensure stiffness. As you can always expect from Kip, we’ve done everything possible to get the best kerb-weight. The Isa White starts at 1060 kg.

Maximum sleep comfort

Holidays are the time to relax: most of the time you spend inside your caravan you are either sitting or lying down. Kip has always given sitting and sleeping comfort a high-priority, which lets you start each day of your holiday rested and relaxed. In every Kip caravan our interior designers always ensure that the longest possible bed is fitted, with comfortable matrasses and slatted bases. The Isa White has an actual bed length of 208 cm, and in all Isa White layouts a slatted base is standard.
In collaboration with the renowned mattress company Pullman, Kip now offers two exclusive Isa White models. The Isa White 44 TDB and the Isa White 41 TDB both have the highest-quality Pullman pocket-spring mattresses. The extra mattress thickness gives extra height to the bed, so getting in and out of the bed is easier. The Isa White 41 TCB has the highest-quality ‘cold foam’ cushions. During the production process the foam is exposed to a cold temperature which breaks opens the internal cells. This creates a very open cell structure in the foam, allowing maximum air circulation and ventilation, so both in the cold and in the warm you can be sure of a comfortable and pleasant sleep. Cold foam is also known for its high elasticity.

Caravan width

Kip caravans are available in various widths, for example the Isa White has a width of 219 cm. This gives you a clear view along the caravan and makes it easy to manoeuvre. And of course it also gives the caravan great aerodynamics and lower wind-resistance.
